We've talked about it for months and we can finally say upgrades have begun on the organizations website. Contrary to popular belief, our group hasn't disbanded or faded away, we just stepped back to focus on what's really important to us - and to decide on how we can deliver it to the public.
1) The Sightings and Encounters Database
This was never going to be an easy project, and the data has been gathered, collected, and will start showing up County by County. We discussed how to display the data, and encountered a couple hiccups. How do we keep private locations private? Well, we can't. So we decided to go back to the old report listing method - FOR NOW - to combat the privacy issue. There are a lot of reports from many sources, and we will endeavor to cite each responsible source of that information.
2) Research and Investigation
We continually investigate new reports. We will have a dedicated space on the website for Investigator Reports to keep curious individuals in the know. We want you to see what we are up too! Same with research reports and outings.
3) Education
This is a new part of our project, and we feel it's important. We are creating a multi-media presentation consistent with our beliefs and findings to educate those who want to know more. This will be available to libraries, schools, and any organization who wants to respectfully display our organization and findings.
2019 is a new year. A Year we are very excited about.
