August 25, 2015, in Northside Cemetery, Pittsburgh:
While riding in a car as part of a funeral procession around 11:30 am in Northside Cemetery, a woman saw a creature, approx 6 1/2 tall with long brown hair covering its body. She noted that it was fairly lean and thin, had a cone-shaped head, & was walking behind a dirt mound from an area of the cemetery where landscaping is frequently dumped. The sighting last for about five seconds & the angle of its travel & path down the hillside prevented further observation from her perspective in the car. The dirt mound is just across the main chapel in the cemetery & just behind it are areas of thick woods & Japanese Knotweed.  The angle of the sighting did not allow her to see its face & it appeared oblivious to the long line of cars which were only about 30-40 yards away. A follow-up investigation with the witness was performed by Joyce Long, Kathy Wood, George & Bheki Stevens 5 days later. A five-toed footprint impression was observed in the area near the dirt mound.  The cemetery is frequently populated with visitors & people walking their pets and exercising. The area behind the cemetery is thick woods with steep grades including known sightings of coyotes & deer. 

December 22, 2011, at Barron Church Rd, McKeesport:
Kid riding an ATV saw an orangish black creature about 8 ft tall walking near a thin row of trees.

 

July 9, 2011, at 10:30 am. Chartiers Creek near Boyce Rd, South Hills of Pittsburgh:
A couple was canoeing down the creek when they claim they heard a loud growl/scream about 50 to 100 yards further downstream from them. They decided to return to their car and leave the area. They stopped to rest at a rocky bank of the creek and the woman stated she heard a grunt. They found footprint impressions in the soft muddy creek bank that measured around 15 inches long.  

May 17, 2009, Near Raccoon Creek State Park and the Beaver County Line: 
While driving along Route 30 east towards Pittsburgh, a witness reported seeing a figure standing on the side of the road near a speed limit sign.  Brian and Terrie Seech of the Center for Unexplained Events received the report and forwarded it off to the PA Bigfoot Society.  Upon investigation with the witness, Brian Seech and the witness recreated the event, while Terrie Seech stood where the figure would have been. Terrie was barely noticeable from Route 30 as they passed. The witness stated that the creature was just under the speed limit sign, which we measured at 7'5" from the ground. A possible print near the creek was cast which measured 12" long and 6" across.  -Courtesy of the Center for Unexplained Events. 

August 15, 2009, Sewickley Heights, Early AM Hours:
Witness contacts Eric Altman by phone claiming he discovered large muddy footprints measuring over 21 inches long and 9 inches wide on a paved road in Sewickley Township in Allegheny County while out on a morning jog. He followed the prints and they led off the road and into the woods.

July 18, 2008, North Park:
While camping, a witness claims a sighting of a large dark hair covered creature. The witness saw the creature from inside his tent and stated the creature was eating food left outside the tent. Then when finished, it let out a high pitch roar and walked off. 

August 25, 2008, near Shaler Township: 
Late at night, the witness awoke to the sounds of loud screeching.  Upon looking out his window he saw a bulky figure walking into the darkness. The creature was screeching the whole time he saw it.  The witness described the creature as covered in reddish black hair and 8-9 feet. It walked like a human but with apelike arms swinging back and forth. 
  
January 19, 2007, 5 pm. Allison Park: 
The witness was driving across a bridge, looked up a hill and saw a black hairy creature. It had big arms and was grayish in color.

Sept 27, 2007, Mt. Lebanon near the Bird Park: 
While walking through a wooded area near the Bird Park, the witness heard rustling behind him followed by a deep grunt.  The man followed the rustling sounds through the woods and witnessed a burly “man” covered in extensive amounts of fur 20 yards away.    The witness estimated the creature to stand 7 to 8-foot tall, covered in light fur that had a reddish color in the sunlight.  The creature had smaller eyes and the hands had little hair on them.  PBS Assistant Director Dave Dragosin spoke with the witness by phone and felt the witness was credible.  We were unable to meet the witness in person due to conflicting schedules, however, the area in question does provide suitable habitat for a creature to move through the area with little or no detection.

January 28, 2006, Allison Park: 
Two men taking a break at the family business watch a tall hair covered creature run down a hillside and cross the creek.  They are only 200 feet away from the creature. They describe the animal as tall, covered in brown hair, massive build and extremely fast.  The animal disappears from sight in a matter of minutes.  While investigating the area for evidence, Dr. Paul Johnson is approached by a third witness.  The witness tells Dr. Johnson, he is a hospital physician at the local area hospital. He was on his way home for lunch, driving by the hillside when he saw a large dark colored, hair covered creature running up the hillside Into a wooded area.  The Doctor goes on to tell Dr. Johnson that he continues to drive the same road home to and from work every day in Hopes of catching another glimpse of the creature.  The three witnesses never heard of, nor believed in Bigfoot before the sightings. 

March 2006, Oakdale PA, near Settlers Cabin Park:  
While spotting deer around 10:30 pm, with the aid of 3.5 million candle power spotlight, two men witness a large hair covered creature running down the hill away from them.  It followed them down the hill through the woods.  PBS investigators met with the witness,  Although no evidence was found at the location, we felt the witness and his claims credible.  The area does provide a suitable habitat for a creature to move through at night with little or no detection.  

August 15, 2004, near McCandless:
While on a leisurely walk through the woods four witnesses when my cousin, Michael saw a hair covered creature laying on the ground about 60ft away from them. The creature was not very large, maybe 4 to 5ft tall with reddish-brown fur over all of its body. No ears could be plainly seen on it. 

August 2003, Monroeville: 
A man was driving in an area that was recently logged. He was driving on a back access road when he came across what he first thought was a man wearing a fur coat. Upon driving closer to the creature he quickly discovered it was not a man but a creature sitting on a pile of rocks. The creature turned and looked at him, then back at the woods. The man fled in his car. 

September through November 2002, near Tarentum: 
A family claims to hear loud screams around their house late at night. PBS investigates finds no evidence. Man claims he has a sighting on October 6, 2002. PBS members are on site an no evidence is found. Investigation lasted from September to the spring of 2003. Game cams and recording devices were left, but no evidence was collected. 

June 6, 2001, near the Wildlife Preserve: 
The same witness as in the sighting on May 1999, was again on her property checking out a Perc test. She glanced ahead on the road and got a glimpse, of a set of black legs. She could make out a black shadow at about 20 feet from her in the tree line. The creature then took a tremendous jump out from behind the bush and in ablur it was gone. Other unusual things have happened, like hearing screams and howls after sunset, wood knocking on wood, seeing something high in a tree that looked like a small orangutan.

April 1, 2000, on the Yough Trail: 
The witness saw a fresh footprint in a soft spot on the trail. He put his boot next to it and it was the same size as his size 11 boot. He could see where it walked in the grass to the trail. A bigger set of tracks were about 20 feet over from the size 11 footprint. The smaller tracks left the trail and walked alongside the much bigger tracks. The 2 sets of tracks walked next to each other and went along a small stand of trees and then turned and went up the creek. 

May 1999: 
Rural area near wildlife preserve: It wasmid afternoon on a hot and dry day. The witness and her dog were hiking for about an hour when she observed a puzzling shape on the ground about 100 yards away. The shape seemed to be rolling around on the ground. It stood up and walked across the trail. The creature was all black with a head that sat directly above its shoulders. It then want up to a very brambly, bushy and stony mountainside. This trail seemed impassable but the creature went up this hill easily. The witness could not make out any marks or footprints on the hard and dry path. - Courtesy of PA Researchers.

A witness sitting on his porch heard a high pitch screech. He turned to his left to see a large 8 to 9 foot white coloredhuman like creature running towards the woods. This happened on a bright moonlight night and the weather was very cold.  - Courtesy of PA Researchers.

Summer 1991, Tarentum:

Spring of 1990, near Shaler:
Young boys discovered what they believed to be two deer killed by a Bigfoot at the top of a steep ravine.  Two very fresh deer carcasses were poorly stowed up under some undergrowth. The adult doe had three broken legs, one of the rear legs almost completely twisted off.  The fawn had anobvious broken back. At the time we never thought of a Bigfoot-related deer kill.  Years later (about 3 years ago) one of the witnesses stumbled across an article on Bigfoot and deer kills. Before seeing the photos we knew that what we found that day matched exactly what the article described.  The boys did go back (shortly after-- possibly same day) to the "scene of the crime" to come up with a better explanation but the carcasses were gone - no drag marks, blood, etc.. Aside from the broken bones, there were no evident wounds on either deer; definitely not a dog-kill.  

Thanksgiving 1987, Pittsburgh: 
A mother and her son saw a long-haired gold-colored creature about 200 feet away. The son was too far away to see any detail, but he also heard tramping and heavy walking in the woods. He watched for a minute or 2 and then went back to work cleaning bricks. When he looked up again, it was gone. -Courtesy of Dr. Paul Johnson. 

1983, Port Vue: 
While hunting birds in the cemetery, a young man witnesses two huge hair covered legs up to the waist. He also felt like he was being followed and hears heavy footfalls.

May 1975, North Hills: 
Two female school teachers were driving along Harts Road at1AM when they saw a 12' tall, hairy figure cross the road in front of them. The creature looked at them with glowing red eyes before walking up a steep 30 foot embankment and disappearing into the woods. Investigators found 21 inch long, 3-toed footprints impressed at least five inches into the hard soil. The tracks were five feet apart, a difficult feat for a human to reproduce on the 45 degree embankment. Two PCUFOR investigators were driving on South Montour Road in the hope of seeing the Bigfoot creature that had been sighted on previous occasions. It was around 12 midnight when they observed 2 tall figures with red eyes approaching thecar, as if trying to circle the witnesses. December 29, 1974: 
Some boys were looking out their window and observed a 7 foot tall hairy bi-pedal creature peering at an outside lighted Christmas tree. The creature turned and ran into the woods. September 1972, 10 pm, near Glendale:
Several young men were in the kitchen playing cards and letdog out to go to the bathroom.  The dog started to growl so the witnesses went out side to investigate.  They saw a tall dark shadowy figure standing by the garbage can.  When they saw it and took two steps and it was over the hill into the brush. The next morning the group of young men gathered some friends and went to the top of woods near the house.  As they came into the clearing at the very top they discovered large areas of field grass pushed down as though something was sleeping there or really it looked to me to be big foot print strides.

Late summer 1971, Hampton Township: 
Two witnesses were sitting along a pipeline talking when they heard a loud bird-like sound. As they stood up to check out where the sound came from, the witnesses observed a 7 to9 foot grey and white creature standing on two legs about 20 yards away from them. No other details were noticed. June 16, 1970, Emsworth: 
Two boys saw what they described as a Chewbacca looking creature. Strange noises, like grunts, growling, snarling and screams were also heard in the woods near their house. The area around the witnesses house had lots of berry bushes and a small orchard.- Courtesy of PA Researchers.

June/July 1968, Mid-Morning near Imperial:
Two teenage boys were walking through the woods returning to theircamp site, when they heard something following them through the woods.  When they entered a clearing they saw something large, brown in color and covered in hair. They could not get a good look at it because of the thick brush.   Being 13 yr.old boys, the two decided to shoot at this form in the brush, by shooting co2 pellets at it. The creature started to growl and make weird gargling sounds.  When they hit it with pellets it growled, then began making mumbling grunts.  

Fall 1956, Pittsburgh, near Route 51 and Woodruff Street: 
While playing in a wooded area near Chatham Village, a young boy is followed by a large hairy dark reddish or orange colored creature covered in hair.
